Good morning and welcome back to sneak peek 3 of the Stylish Sketches stamp set. Today we have moved on from wildlife and we are going down the nature theme with these fig branches.
I love how there are little lines all around the branches which seems to give it some movement.
For this card I again stamped in Staz-on ink and coloured using a Water Painter. I used a mixture of Granny Apple Green (my favourite!) with a tiny bit of Garden Green on the edges of the leaves to add some dimension again using the little hash lines as a guide.
I used the little dotty stamp to take away the plain background and you may be able to see I also used a light Smoky Slate wash around the image to add depth and make it jump from the page. I used these technique on all the sketches.
