Good morning, did you like that little fox from yesterday's post? Wasn't he cute and perfect for men and women alike and for lots of occasions.
Today I am sharing the second sketch image, Mr and Mrs Duck! These are perfect for all sorts of occasions and I am thinking especially for an anniversary.
Once again the images teach you where to add texture and depth with the little hash lines. I must confess to pulling up an image of a mallard duck to get the markings right! Isn't it funny, we see ducks all the time but when it came to colouring one, my mind went black.
The image was stamped in Staz-on ink and I used an almost dry Water Painter to colour them in. Once painted I cut a circle with the image, mounted it on to Early Espresso cardstock and offset the circle using Stampin' Dimensionals. I added some linen thread behind and some faux stitching. So quick and simple but they make beautiful cards at the same time.
Remember from Friday 1 July, you can earn this stamp set for free with a qualifying £45 order!
Pop back tomorrow to see the final image from this cute little set!
