Share It Sunday Blog Hop...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Share it Sunday Blog Hop.  Today I am sharing with you my all day Floating & Fluttering class which took place yesterday.  Unfortunately, we are still in lockdown here in the UK so it had to be a virtual class but we had fun nevertheless.

Stamp 'n Hop February Blog Hop - Colour Challenge...

Good evening, welcome to the February Stamp n' Hop blog hop.

I am joining demonstrators from around the World to create a project using a colour challenge.

I love a colour challenge as they really make you think outside of the box and these colours just shouted 'male' to me!

I decided to use a stamp set I bought some while ago but for some reason I have not created with it very much.

Here is my card...

By the Dock

I started with a Crumb Cake base card and placed a Mossy Meadow panel across the centre of it.

I took a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor paper and stamped the bank towards the bottom.  I used our Classic Ink pads to watercolour the bank, the horizon and sky and stamped the little birds from the Sailing Home stamp set.  I stamped two boats in Memento ink on to some scraps of Whisper White cardstock and coloured them using Stampin' Blends before cutting them out.

I cut the watercoloured panel using Stitched Rectangle dies and mat and layered on to Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow cardstock.

I mounted the picture panel on dimensionals before adding the boats and white heat embossed greeting.

I hope you like my card and I am now going to pass you on to Sue who I know will have something gorgeous to share with you today.

You will find a list of the products I have used to create my project below.

Technique Tuesday Blog Hop...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop.

Today I am joining demonstrators from around the World to create a project using Die Cutting Techniques.  I wanted to create a project which uses die cuts in different ways, not just for cutting.

I started with a piece of Gray Granite cardstock and die cut the circular die from a scrap of card.  I then used the die cut as a stencil, sponging Gray Granite ink through the stencil.  I then mixed up some Frost White Shimmer paint with a drop of Gray Granite ink and sponged it through the stencil again.

I cut the die shape from a piece of Vellum cardstock and attached this to the card.  I then stamped and coloured the butterflies using Stampin' Blends.  The strip at the top has been coloured using Stampin' Blends on to Basic White cardstock.

I hope you like my card today and it inspires you to use die cuts in alternative ways.  You can follow the hop by clicking on the individual participants.

All of the products I have used in making this project can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links below.
