December Class - Four Feathers

This month I decided we should have a break from Christmas as I suspect, if you are as organised as me (chuckle, chuckle!), Christmas crafting is all done and dusted - yeah right - in my head it is in reality I still have stacks to do but nevertheless I thought it would be nice to have a break from it for this month's class.

So, I decided we would go for an autumnal theme, using the Four Feathers stamp set.  I must confess I originally dismissed this set on first glance through the catalogue but as time went by and I saw more and more lovely creations done with it, I decided to give in.  Now, inevitably, I love it!!

Without further ado, here is what we made.

The project is a Perpetual Calendar which, whilst a bit of a labour of love, looks fab completed and makes a really nice gift.

We then made two cards using the baby wipe technique, an oldie but a goodie.

And then finally a third card using daubers direct on to the stamp to get a blended tone.

I hope you liked the projects and I will be back real soon with some samples from the upcoming Spring/Summer catalogue!

It's nearly SALE-A-BRATION time...

OMG are you gonna love Sale-a-Bration this year.  For those who have no idea what I am talking about, Sale-a-Bration is Stampin' Up!'s biggest promotion of the year when you can receive free products (we all love a freebie right?) and it all begins on 6 January 2015, when we all have those post Christmas blues and need a good promotion to cheer us up.  I can assure you that you will not be disappointed!

I was very privileged to be asked by Stampin' Up! to produce a display table for the recent Sale-a-Bration Tour which visited seven destinations throughout the UK.  Not only was it a great privilege and honour but I also got to get my hands on a brand new product before anyone else, now that was super exciting.

So although it is still a month away, I am now in a position to share a few of the projects I made for the display table.  It is with a stamp set called Lotus Blossom and is a two step, in fact three step stamp set.

Here they are on the table...

And here are a few close ups...

I cannot wait to be able to show you the whole catalogue but hope you enjoy these snippets until then!
