Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop: Tic Tac Toe...

I am excited today to be joining the Ink.Stamp.Share October Blog Hop.  Fellow demonstrator Laura Mackie and I have recently taken over this hop, we hop once a month and if you fancy joining in please get in touch.

This month's theme is a Tic Tac Toe Challenge, or as we know it in the UK, noughts and crosses.  The idea is you follow a line from the choices below, be that horizontal, vertical or diagonal.  I chose diagonal from the top left corner to the bottom right corner.  Christmas - Ribbon - Banner

And here is my card, I used the lovely Festive Farmhouse Suite.  I cut a piece of DSP to measure 13.85cm x 9.5cm for my base, the banner measured 5cm x 12cm.  I stamped the car, tree and banner using Memento ink and coloured using the amazing Stampin' Blends.

I hope you like my card and it has inspired you to have a go at our Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

If you have seen anything that you would like to purchase then please contact your local Stampin' Up! Demonstrator or, if you don't have one, I would be happy to help.

I am now going to pass you on to Sue McDonald who I am sure has an amazing project for you today.

Happy Stampin'

Kre8tors Blog October 2018 - Theme: Autumn Color Challenge...

Good afternoon, thank you for joining me today.  My name is Jo and I am from Norfolk in the UK.

I am taking part in the Kre8tors Blog Hop for October together with many other demonstrators from around the World.

This month we were tasked with a colour challenge.  The colours were inspired by the picture below and we had to choose a minimum of three colours from Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Gray Granite.

I love the autumnal colours and never miss up on an opportunity to create with them.

For my card today, I used the Pinewood Planks embossing folder on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I inked some Soft Suede ink directly on to the embossing folder before running it through the machine.

I then punched five circles using the 1 3/4" circle and sponged the edges of the circles, first in Pumpkin Pie and then some Soft Suede.  I shaped the circles slightly before arranging to make my pumpkin.  I then cut a 'stalk' for the pumpkin and coloured in several layers of Soft Suede.  I tied some linen thread around the stalk.

For the leaves (taken from Colorful Seasons) I used the Baby Wipe Technique where you drop re=inker, in your chosen colours, on to a baby wipe and use this as your ink pad.  I used Real Red, Granny Apple Green and Soft Suede.  The greeting was stamped using Soft Suede and Pumpkin Pie and is from the Country Home stamp set.

I hope you like my project today.  If you do, please leave me a comment.

I am now going to pass you on to Sue who I am sure has a lovely project for you today.

 Happy Stampin'

Stamp 'N Hop - Christmas Jump Start.....

Good evening from Norfolk in the UK.  This evening I am joining in with the Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop with the theme for October - Christmas Jump Start!

I think, as crafters, our Christmas craft goes on for around six months but now the Christmas goodies are appearing in the shops, it almost seems more acceptable.  I love the build up to Christmas and all the amazing creations that start to appear.

I have incorporated several of the brilliant Christmas stamps along with the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper.  This paper is absolutely gorgeous and with the copper elements which run through it, it makes it even more luxurious that normal.
I have made three cards to share ...

The first card incorporates the Peaceful Noel stamps.

The second card incorporates the Merry Christmas to All stamps.

The third card incorporates the Dashing Deer stamps.

Have you noticed the little deer in the background?  Isn't he gorgeous and look he is snuggled up to a friend.  Here they are in all their glory.

I hope you have enjoyed hopping with me today, I am now going to pass you on to Cheryl, who I am sure has something exciting to share with you today.

Happy Stampin'

Ink & Share Scrapbook Hop - Fall Theme...

Thank you for joining me here today from Norfolk in the UK.  Today I am joining the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop for October with a theme of 'Fall' or Autumn as we know it here in the UK.

This has to be my favourite time of year where the nights are drawing in, the leaves are changing to all sorts of colours and falling from the trees, warm days and crisp nights, I could go on but definitely my favourite of the seasons.

When I was going through my many many photographs I realised I didn't actually have any which really showed the beauty of the season so I have created my scrapbook page without a photograph at this stage whilst I am working on taking that perfect snap.

Here is my layout.

The splatters in the background are stamped from the Timeless Textures stamps and embossed in copper.  The leaves are created using the 'Baby Wipe' technique.  I love doing this technique where you drop a few drops of reinker, in your chosen colours, on to some folded over flattened baby wipes and then use this as your ink pad.  I cut the leaves out together with a couple of copper leaves and arranged them around my centre photo.   I added a few more leaves to the top left corner with some linen thread.

Here are some closer images.

I really enjoyed creating this project and may well have to make a second (I do love a double page layout!)

I am now going to pass you on to Cindy who I am sure has an amazing project to share with you today.

Happy Scrappin'
