ILWS New Annual Catalogue Blog Hop...

Thank you for joining us today for the ILWS Annual Catalogue Blog Hop.  I think this is one of the best catalogues we have ever had and every time I open it I seem to see something else I missed on the previous 100 visits to the catalogue lol!!!  You should have joined me from the lovely Christa, I love what she has created, Stampin' Up! sure has some very talented demonstrators.

Now for my projects, I have four for you today.  I am sharing 3 cards and a project from my monthly class held last Saturday using the Bloom with Hope hostess stamp set which you can earn by hosting a workshop and some of the lovely new in-colors.

The first card was made by randomly stamping the large flower on to the background piece of Whisper White cardstock and then creating a mask to cover the flower before adding the leaves.  I then used the frame from the Chalk Talk stamp set and the sentiment from the Tag Talk stamp set.

The second card was made by creating an embossed background with the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder and cutting a heart border at the top using the new Heart Border punch.  The flowers were stamped in Staz-on ink and watercoloured using Hello, Honey and Mossy Meadow ink.

The third card has been made using the lovely Moonlight paper stack.  I used Baked Brown Sugar for the leaves you can just see in the background, cut a window through the front of the card using the circle framelits, watercoloured the flowers in Hello, Honey and used Something to Say for the greeting.

Finally, this is the project we made.

It is a basket which opens up either side to leave quite a substantial storage space inside.  I used the Deco Labels framelits to cut the windows, the papers are also from the Moonlight paper stack and the flowers are from the Petite Petals stamp set and punch and the large flowers are made from the Pansy punch.  The little bow has been made using the Large Oval punch.  Here are some close ups of some of the elements.

I have listed below a comprehensive list of the items I used to make these projects which can be purchased from my on-line shop or just drop me a line.  There is also a list of all members taking part in the hop in case you get lost along the way.

I hope you enjoyed my projects and I shall now pass you over to the lovely Sandra.

Perfect Peacock...

Well my lovely new goodies have arrived so I have been having some fun but sadly most of it I cannot share with you at this time as it is for this coming weekend's class and I don't want to spoil the surprise!!

I have however one project I want to share with you today, the new catalogue has seen the launch of some lovely new stamp sets and also some lovely new products, my favourite of which are the new Blendabilities.  These are alcohol pens which co-ordinate perfectly with our Stampin' Up! colours.  I have been a fan of alcohol pens for many years so I cannot tell you how excited I was when I found out we were getting these.

Pop over to my shop to have a look for yourself.

So moving on to the project, I just love the new Perfect Peacock stamp set so I couldn't resist just having a go and here it is...

I loved doing this and the pens take considerably less time than watercolouring and give a vibrant finish.  I still love my watercolouring but these are a nice alternative.

Hope you like it!

Jo
