Ink.Stamp.Share June Blog Hop - New Products...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share June Blog Hop.  You may have joined me from Rebecca-Jo or starting your journey here.  We have some amazing projects to share with you today using all 'New Products' from the Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue.  You can find a link to the catalogue in the right hand panel.

I have quite a lot of new products but today I have decided to share with you the amazing Peony Dies, Forever Flourishing Dies and the Forever Gold Laser Cut Speciality Paper.

I have had this little ladder hanging around for some time so decided to make it into a little home decor piece for my guest room.

It was bare mdf so I painted it first using chalk paint and then cut five of the amazing peonies and various foliage and this is the end result.

I sponged the edges of the peonies using Rococo Rose ink and the centres are Mango Melody.  The foliage is cut from a mixture of Garden Green and Old Olive with sponging in Mossy Meadow to provide the highlights.

I love making home decor pieces and to have them scattered around the home.

I hope you like my project today and I am now going to pass you on to Jacqui who I am sure has something beautiful to share with you today and you can use the Next Button to navigate through the hop.

I love to receive feedback on my projects so if you like what you see please leave me a comment, it is very much appreciated.

You can purchase any of the items I have used from my online shop by following the product links below.

Happy Hoppin'

SF June 2020 - What's Going On...

Good afternoon and thank you for joining me for the Stampin' Friends June Blog Hop, you may have joined me from Anne Marie or starting the hop here.  You can navigate around by following the Roll Call list below.  The theme this month is 'What's Going On' - the theme was set prior to lockdown, due to the current pandemic, so inevitably not a great deal has been going on in all our lives at the moment.

However, as you probably know, Stampin' Up! released its new Annual Catalogue on the 3rd of this month so in fact a great deal has been going on with online classes, exciting new products and beautiful new In-Colors.

The other thing that has changed for us during lockdown is that we have been shopping very differently by using local businesses for our everyday needs.  I am actually quite ashamed to say that I was not using them more beforehand and will endeavour to continue to use them when this is all over.

The reason I am telling you this is that on a visit to a local farm shop I picked up these cute little jars of preserves and I thought they would make a really sweet gift, with some beautiful packaging of course!

I wanted to make a box which held them all together in a triangle.  They are quite heavy so I knew I would have to reinforce any box I made.  This box has a double wall to it to strengthen it.

I used a mixture of products to decorate my box, the papers are from the In Good Taste Suite, the topper is made using the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle and the ferns from the Forever Flourishing dies.

The sunflower was made by wetting a sheet of watercolour paper and adding two new In-Colors, Cinnamon Cider and Bumblebee and also a little of Mango Melody.  I allowed it to dry thoroughly before die cutting it out and the top layer was cut from Cinnamon Cider cardstock.  The leftover pieces I used to cut the tops of the corn.

I then of course had to make a card to accompany the gift using the same products and techniques.

I hope you like my projects and I am now going to pass you on to Barbara who I am sure has something really lovely to share with you today.

The products I used to make this project are shown below and are all available through my online shop.

Happy Craftin'

Kre8tors June Blog Hop - Masculine...

Good afternoon and thank you for joining me today for the June Kre8tors Blog Hop where we are sharing projects with a masculine theme.  You may have joined me from Anastasia or starting the hop here.

I have chosen to share with you a card made with the brand new 'Whiskey Business' stamp set from the new Annual 2020/21 Catalogue.

Here is my card...

I heat embossed the glasses on the left hand side with white embossing powder and sponged over the top using a mixture of Cinnamon Cider and Mango Melody.

I then attached the ribbon and the lovely buckle from the Antiqued Corners and Slides across my card.

I stamped the decanter and glass using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and used the light and dark Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends mixed with the light Mango Medley Stampin' Blend.  I cut out the images and covered them entirely in Versamark before heat embossing them using clear embossing powder, a total of three times to give them a nice glossy glass looking surface.

My greeting was stamped using Versamark ink and white embossing powder on to Early Espresso card.

I really enjoyed using this stamp set for the first time, it was quite quick to create and is great for so many occasions.

You can see how I made this card here...

I am now going to pass you on to Cheryl who I am sure has something fantastic to share with you today.  You can navigate through the hop using the Next button below or the Roll Call list.
