"Fall/Autumn/Halloween" Theme Stampers Showcase Blog Hop...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop.

Today we are celebrating Fall/Autumn/Halloween and I am joining demonstrators from around the World to bring you some amazing projects.

You may have joined me from Mo or starting the hop here, but welcome and sit back and enjoy.

I love Autumn, so of course my project had to showcase the beautiful Gilded Autumn Suite which Stampin' Up! have treated us to this year.  The colours of the papers are amazing and the stamps are so versatile especially with the accompanying punch pack!

So today I have made a box, quite a substantial box which has a slightly different fastening,

The ribbon creates a handle but it is tied together inside to create a continuous loop so when the handle is in use, the ribbon at the front holds the box closed.  The box itself measures around 16cm wide by 11cm high and 11cm deep.

Here are some closer pictures.

I hope you like my project, I am now going to pass you on to Leonie who I am sure has something lovely to share with you today.

Monday Mashup #8...

Good morning and welcome to my Monday Mashup.

Today I am mixing up the brilliant stamp set, A Good Man, with dies from the Dockside set and the amazing In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

My husband chose the stamp set for this project and when I saw the card on page 33, I just knew I had to recreate it.

I sometimes forget, as I am sure we all do from time to time, that the catalogues are not just full of lovely products to buy but they are jam packed with inspiration.

I have CASEd this card from the catalogue which is sometimes interpreted as Copy and Share Everything but also can be Copy and Selectively Edit.

I didn't have all of the products I needed to recreate this card so I looked at what I did have and adjusted the design to accommodate those products.

I have added a Balmy Blue border and some coloured jewels to look like nail heads on the wooden background.

I hope you like my tweaked project today.

All of the products I have used to create this project can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links below.

We have just a few days left of our brilliant Get & Go joining promotion.

For just £99 you get to choose £130 worth of products of your choice, card packs which are ready to go and two additional stamp sets Queen Anne's Lace and So Much Love.

You do not have to hold classes to be a demonstrator, you can simply enjoy all the benefits for yourself, if that is what you would like to do.  I am happy to have a no obligation chat to explain the offer in more detail so please get in touch if this interests you.

Here is the video of today's project...

Ink & Share September Scrapbook Hop - Autumn/Halloween...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook Hop for September.

Our theme for this month is Autumn/Halloween.  You may have joined me from Sue or starting the hop here.

I have chosen to spotlight one of my favourite photos of my nephew pictured with his two beautiful children.  The photo was taken a few years ago, as Elliot was 6 just this past week.  The children sadly lost their mum last year, very suddenly, and I am so extremely proud of all of them and especially my nephew for being such a fantastic dad.

I used the baby wipe technique to colour my leaves using Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Crumb Cake reinkers.  I then fussy cut the leaves (yes who forgot I had the dies waiting to cut these beauties for me, lol!!!! - good job I enjoy fussing cutting)

The dots are made using our Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with a drop of Early Espresso reinker and some with a drop of Cajun Craze reinker.  I then used my ball tools to make dots of varying sizes.

Finally I added some gems and a linen thread bow to complete.

I hope you like my page today, Heike is up next and I know she will have something amazing to show you today.

All of the products used in making this project can be found below and can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links.

Happy Scrappin'
