Good evening and welcome to my blog. This evening I am sharing with you my entry to the Global Design Project Challenge. This week is a Case the Designer challenge and we are CASEing a project by the amazing Kayla McCreadie.
CASE means to Copy and Selectively Edit a design. CASEing is a great way to get your crafting mojo back when it decides to disappear for a while and yes it happens to all of us!!
It is not necessarily about copying everything about the project it is about using the project as inspiration whilst using the design to set you on a path of creativity. It doesn't matter if you don't have the materials used, see what you have in your own stash and give it a go.
Here is my CASE of the design...
I used the fab stamp set called Nothing's Better Than. It has really fun sentiments in it. I have chosen Nothing's Better than Chocolate.
I love white on white cards with a pop of colour, this time is subtle shades and I have flipped my card to a landscape layout.
I cut out numerous 'Love you more than' dies in Whisper White and glued them to a Whisper White panel. I cut one of the 'Love' dies in Crumb Cake mounted on to the brand new Foam Adhesive Sheets (if you haven't tried these yet they are a must!)
I cut the heart from the Be Mine Stitched dies in Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White and mounted them on my card front, adding some linen thread before the white heart was mounted using dimensionals.
I stamped two sets of chocolates before mounting them on the heart.
