Ink.Stamp.Share June Blog Hop - 3D...

Good afternoon and thank you for joining our June Hop.  This month we have been tasked with making a 3D project.  I love making 3d projects as it always amazes me how we can make such amazing things from flat pieces of card!

I have something a little special for you today.  It is called a Tower Explosion Box.  I have wanted to make one of these for ages but never seemed to get around to it but I have made it as a display piece for my Sail Away Fun Day class which is actually happening as we speak!

Here is the box...

It looks like a normal gift box, albeit rather large, but wait, when you take off the lid...

There's another box, but wait...

And wait...there's more...

I won't lie, this is a labour of love, lots of head scratching and cardstock/DSP but I think it is worth it.  I wanted to show off the DSP so I haven't over decorated the box but you could go wild and decorate all sides if you wanted to.

I have seen a fair few of these doing the rounds recently so I just searched Tower Explosion Box on You Tube and adjusted the measurements accordingly to create the size I wanted.  Maybe one day I will write my own tutorial using my measurements, but for now....I am going to pass you on to Linda Handford who I am sure has something amazing to share with you today!

Happy Stampin'

Stamp 'n Hop - Hello 2019/20 Annual Catalogue...

Good morning and welcome to another Stamp 'n Hop blog hop.  This month we are celebrating the release of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue.  You may be joining me from the amazing Karen or starting your hop here but either way sit back and enjoy some inspiration from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue!

Today is a great day as not only am I joining lots of amazing demonstrators from around the world to celebrate the new catalogue but today is also my birthday, yay!

As demonstrators we get to see and purchase some of the new items featured in the new catalogue prior to the general release and the one stamp set I fell in love with and decided to share with you today is called "Over the Moon" (149331).

OVER THE MOON CLING STAMP SET

How cute are they!!!

Here is my card.

I designed this card for a card swap I recently co-ordinated here in the UK.  I used the Buffalo Check background stamp (151372), stamped in Memento Black (132708) on to Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  I then used Stampin' Blends to colour in my image.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today and I am now going to pass you on to Jacqui who I am sure has something lovely to share with you.

Happy Stampin'
