Monday Mashup #28...

Good morning and welcome to my Monday Mashup.

I hope you are well and have had a good weekend.  Still nothing much going on here as we remain in lockdown but my hubby had his COVID vaccination on Friday so that is good news at least.

Today I am sharing with you a remake of a card I made for a blog hop last week.  I have been overwhelmed by messages and questions about how I made this card so I decided to recreate it in a different colour way and using a few different products but the process is exactly the same.

I started with a Basic Black card base and a piece of Gray Granite cardstock.  I cut the wreath from the Wreath Builder dies and used the negative space as a stencil to sponge my background in Basic Gray and some Frost White Shimmer paint which I mixed with a drop of Basic Gray ink.

I used Stampin' Blends to colour the strip at the top, the linen thread and the butterflies.  The splatters in the background are from Dark Gray Granite Stampin' Blend and some Frost White Shimmer paint.

I hope you like the project today, I think this would look stunning in some brights pinks or purples, why not give it a go for yourself?
