Good morning and welcome to my Monday Mashup. I hope you have all had a good weekend.
We finally managed to get out in the garden a little bit this weekend. We had a raised bed put in last October but until now the weather has not permitted us getting out there to paint it. It was nice to spend a few hours in the open air and see signs of Spring coming through!
Today I am sharing a watercoloured card using a beautiful new suite which will be available from 2 March. As demonstrators we are able to purchase products before general release, one of the many great perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and this suite is a beauty!
I started by stamping the butterfly design on to a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper using Staz-on Ink. The butterfly images are all together on one large stamp which can be problematic when you only want to ink one of them but I show you how easy it is to achieve in the video below.
I then watercoloured the image and created the splattered background before putting everything together.
