Good morning and welcome to my Monday Mashup.
I hope you are all keeping well, safe and in from the cold. It has turned very cold here in the UK this weekend and despite the threat of heavy snow we have had no more than a fluttering where I am in Norfolk.
I have had a busy weekend doing some shopping for some elderly neighbours who are self isolating and having some inky fun in my craft room.
Today I am sharing a card that I have made using the beautiful Floating and Fluttering stamp set and dies. I ordered this set way back in December and finally it arrived on Friday due to the Brexit delays from Europe.
I wanted to create a subtle effect with these beautiful stamps and used Seaside Spray, Petal Pink and Smoky Slate to create my card.
I started by cutting two of the wreaths from the Wreath Builder Dies, one in Smoky Slate and one in Basic White. I offset them slightly so the Smoky Slate one creates a shadow underneath the white one.
I then stamped the butterflies in Memento before stamping the colour in first and second generation stamping to create the subtle details on the wings.
