Positive Inkers Blog Hop - Favourite DSP...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Positive Inkers Blog Hop for June!  How can we be in June already, this year is going way too fast.

Today we are creating our projects using our Favourite DSP.  I always struggle with the word 'favourite' as I always have so many favourites that it is impossible to narrow it down but what I do absolutely love is a character based DSP and the Happy Forest Friends is just perfect for this.

I started off with a piece of Basic White cardstock and lightly sponged the background in Pacific Point ink (largely removed from the sponge on to scrap paper first).  I then started fussy cutting elements from one of the sheets of DSP and this is what happened...

I love fussy cutting so this was fine for me and it just shows how versatile this type of DSP is, it means you can create a simple but beautiful card very easily and quickly.

I layered up the pieces until I was happy with my design.  I lay things out, don't stick anything yet, then I snapped a quick picture on my phone so I could recreate it and glue everything in place.

What a fun card! You can follow the hop by clicking on the names below.  I am really interested to see what everyone's favourite DSP is, what's yours?
