Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share Showcase Blog Hop for June.
Today we are sharing whatever we have been working on. We have had a full week of celebrations in this household, my husband had his birthday on Sunday, mine was on Wednesday and then my nephew was Thursday. Suffice to say we have had a few celebrations and lots of cake!
My nephew is a true footy fan and when I saw the hexagons in the Beautiful Shapes dies I instantly saw a football! I bet you can't guess what team he supports! It just so happens that Merry Merlot and the new Tahitian Tide are a close match for the colours of the Hammers!!!
I started with a Basic White background and blended Tahitian Tide and a little Old Olive to create a background. I then cut the largest circle from the Layering Circles dies and several of the 'double' hexagons in Basic White and Basic Black. I stuck the hexagons on the circle, leaving a small gap between the shapes and trimming the edges around the circle.
I then cut several of the grass like pieces from the Plentiful Plants dies in Old Olive cardstock and arranged all the pieces on the card front.
Finally, I stamped the greetings before attaching them to the card to complete.
I had so much fun creating this card and I know it will make him smile and I couldn't resist adding a football inside the card too.
I hope you like what I have been working on! You can follow the hop by clicking on the links or the next button below.
Happy Stampin'
