Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Oct 2020 - Halloween....

Hi and welcome to the Stampin' Dreams October Blog Hop.

I am joining demonstrators from around the World to celebrate Halloween.

I couldn't resist bringing out the Have a Hoot set again, I just love all the images in this set, it is so versatile.

Here is my card...

I started off with a piece of Whisper White cardstock and placed a circle mask on to the right hand side of the card.  I then blended together, Pool Party, Misty Moonlight and finally Night of Navy towards the edges using our Sponge Brayers and sponges.

I then stamped the owl image so it was partly over the 'moon' and I coloured it in using our Stampin' Markers with a mixture of Early Espresso, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.  I extended the trunk of the tree using an Early Espresso marker.  Although the Stampin' Markers don't naturally blend together like the Stampin' Blends, you can still get them to blend really well with a bit of persuasion!

Here are some closer pictures so you can see some of the detail.

Finally, I splattered the background with the Frost White Shimmer Paint, silver heat embossed the greeting and punched it in to a banner.  The second banner is silver foil and the front is mounted on to a silver foil layer.  I added a couple of adhesive jewels to the night sky too!

I had great fun creating this card and I hope you like it.

Happy Stampin'
