Good morning, I hope you have had a good weekend.
We painted our garden shed, walked the dogs in the forest and generally had a relaxing one.
Today I am sharing with you two cards using the beautiful Rustic Retreat stamp set.
I was originally drawn to this stamp set because of the A A Milne quote and the Christmas sentiment but then I realised what a versatile set it is for birthdays and Christmas and lots of other occasions. Sadly, I think it is little bit overlooked but then we have so many amazing sets I guess it is inevitable some will be more popular than others.
I actually have two cards to share with you, they are made in exactly the same way but I have used different stamps. Here is the first one using the little house in the forest.
The centre has been cut out and raised on dimensionals and a bauble topper added.
I started by creating the background before cutting out the circle.
For this week's video, I recreated this card using the little deer and a different colour palette.
These are really fun to make and you could add any image or scene on to the bauble or for a birthday you could just leave the bauble top off with perhaps a subtle dot, leaf or floral Ombre background.
