Ink & Share October Scrapbook Hop - Shapes...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.

Today you are joining me and fellow demonstrators from around the World to share with you our creations with the theme SHAPES.

Shapes are a really great starting point whether it be in cardmaking or scrapbooking.  Shapes are easy to punch, die cut or cut in multiple sizes and when layered together can create some amazing effects.

I have chosen circles as my shape of choice.  I always think circles are timeless and can be used in so many different ways.  Just as a word of warning though you may need your sunglasses for this one!

I cut two part circles from some Whisper White cardstock and cut them out.  I have a large circle template which I used to draw my circles but you could draw round a dinner plate or something similar.

I then punched and die cuts lots of circles of all different sizes from Bermuda Bay, Magenta Madness , Bumblebee and Granny Apple Green cardstock along with some from the Rainbow Glimmer Paper.

I then arranged the circles and glued them in place.  I trimmed the edges of the part circles to remove any pieces that overhung the edges and then glued the whole thing to my page.

I then matted the photograph on to Whisper White, Bermuda Bay and Magenta Madness Cardstock.

Finally I cut the words using the Playful Alphabet dies using Basic Black cardstock and glued them in place.

I absolutely love this photograph, as you can see there are conflicting football teams involved here and I think, if I remember rightly, there was a special match on that day!

The products I have used to make this layout are shown below and can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links.

I hope you like my page, I am now going to pass you on to Heike who I know will have something amazing to share with you.

Happy Scrappin'

Jo
