SF 2020 Blog Hop - Well Wishes/Pick-Me-Ups...

Welcome to the Stampin' Friends August Blog Hop.

You may have joined me from Steph or starting the hop here.  The theme this month is Well Wishes/Pick Me Ups.

I like to give friends/family/neighbours small handmade gifts as a little pick me up and just to say hello.  This week I have made a large batch of Roasted Garlic and Apple Chutney in preparation for the Christmas cheese board, from produce grown in my garden.

I thought it would be nice to make a box to gift the preserves in but it could also be used for small cosmetics, nail polishes, sweets, any number of small gifts.  I decided to use the Peony Garden Suite for my projects.  It has such a soft beautiful colour palette of Gray Granite and Petal Pink.

The box slides in and out of a wrap which has the ribbon attached to its base.

I made a card to match which I can give along with the gift.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects.  I have recorded a short video of how the box is made so you can give it a go.

I am now going to pass you on to Katja who I am sure has something lovely to share with you today.

Happy Craftin'

Jo
