Monday Mashup #one...

Good morning and welcome to my first Monday Mashup.

When I set out to create a project I first choose the stamp set I want to highlight.  Quite often I mix up sets to create the overall effect I want or I pinch a greeting from another set, use items from other suites etc.

I thought it would be fun to have a weekly post which mixes up two or more stamp sets or products that can work really well together that we may not necessarily have thought about.

I am sharing with you today a card I recently made for a card swap using the cute Gnomes for the Holidays stamp set which is now available in the Autumn/Winter catalogue mashed up with a returning set from last year called Peaceful Boughs.

I started off with a Thick Whisper White cardstock base card measuring 21cm x 14.85cm, scored at 10.5cm and folded in half.

I cut a Cherry Cobbler layer to measure 13.85cm x 9.5cm and a Whisper White layer to measure 13.35cm x 9cm.  I also cut a further Whisper White layer to measure 9cm by 3.5cm.

The background is sponged in Balmy Blue and Shimmer Embossing Paste is added to the strip at the bottom.

The boughs are stamped in Shaded Spruce and coloured using blends.

The gnomes are also coloured using Stampin' Blends.

I hope you like my little gnome card and thank you for dropping by today, you can see how I made the card here.

If you do not have a demonstrator and live in the UK, I would love to be yours so please don't hesitate to get in touch or why not become a demonstrator yourself, I would be happy to have a no obligation chat with you to discuss the benefits that being a demonstrator bring, it is so much more than discounts!!!

I will be back for another mashup next week.

Happy Craftin'

Jo
