The challenge is a sketch. I love working with sketches as they are a great starting point. When using a sketch, it is there for inspiration so that doesn't mean you have to copy every single element of the sketch, its to inspire you and let your own creative mind get to work. If my mojo takes a vacation, sketches always brings it home!!!
I am loving the Have a Hoot stamp set at the moment, so I couldn't resist the little guy peeking from behind the pumpkin and with a little creative juggling, you can use the pumpkin on its own.
You can see I have chosen not to add the central panel from the sketch but to concentrate on the central circle element. I wanted to keep the contrast of the black, white and orange as clear as possible.
I have stamped the spiders in the background on a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock but I have used Terracotta Tile ink.
The pumpkins and owl have been coloured using Stampin' Blends.
