Kre8tors Blog Hop - Anniversary...

Good afternoon and thank you for joining me for the Kre8tors August Blog Hop.  You may have joined me from Sandra or starting the hop here.

This month we are creating a project with the subject 'Anniversary'.  This is a great subject as strangely enough I sometimes struggle with anniversary cards as I don't like them too mushy, subject matter is sometimes difficult and colour schemes too so I am sure I will pick up lots of ideas from the hop myself.

I have decided to dust off a favourite set from last year which thankfully carried over in to the new Annual Catalogue and it is called Free as a Bird.

FREE AS A BIRD CLING STAMP SET (EN)

Sometimes when a new catalogue is released I get caught up in all the excitement and forget the returning stamps.  This was a particular favourite of mine last year.

Here is my card...

I wanted my card to be elegant so I kept to the all white theme for my background.   Every morning, we have two blue tits visit our courtyard garden, they are such an iconic bird and so pretty and tiny so they were my obvious choice.  I have painted these using Fluid 100 paper and inks.  The greeting has been heat embossed in white and is from the Many Mates stamp set.

I hope you like my project and it has given you some Anniversary inspiration.  I am now going to pass you on to Jan who I know will have something lovely to share with you today.

Happy Stampin'
