Kre8tors - Free For All Blog Hop...

 

Good afternoon and welcome to the return of the Kre8tors Blog Hop.  I am so excited that Melissa has decided to begin this hop again, it was always one of my favourites!  This is a free for all hop so I have no doubt there are going to be some amazing projects.

I am sharing a fun card made with the cute Driving By stamp set which you can earn for FREE with a qualifying order!  (Read to the end to find out how!)

This little stamp set is really useful for so many occasions and for any age and gender so a really versatile set you do not want to miss.

When I saw the campervan I thought of days at the beach so that is the theme I went with. 

I used a technique I have not used in a while but it is really fun.  I stamped the campervan in Memento ink and used Stampin' Blends to colour it in.  I then took a couple of drops from the Versamark refill bottle and using a paintbrush, brushed the Versamark ink all over the campervan.  I added some clear embossing powder and heated it up.  Whilst still warm I added some additional clear embossing powder and reheated it until I got a smooth shiny surface.  This is difficult to see in the photographs.

I then used a mixture of Blending Brushes and Sponge Brayers to add colour to the background of the card.  You can go straight over the campervan as the ink will not stick to the shiny surface.
