Welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share monthly blog hop. We have got a treat for you today as we have all picked a suite of products to showcase with you and we have over 20 hoppers sharing their creative talents!
I am sharing a card I made for the On Stage presentation I did back in November last year. It was so much fun to get a new suite and know I was the first person to get my hands on it, what a privilege. These dies are taken from the Tulips Dies which are part of the Flowering Fields suite.
This was probably my favourite card I made using the beautiful tulip dies. These are really unique folding dies which create these amazing 3d tulips.
The circle in the background is made by cutting four circles with the Layering Circles Dies which are then stuck together so they stand out from the base card.
I cut the tulips from Basic White cardstock and using a sponge dauber coloured them in Poppy Parade, Mango Melody and Petal Pink ink. I then lightly shaped the dies using my fingers and a bone folder.
I glued the elements together and sneaked a little dimensional inside the tulip so they keep their shape.
I hope you like my card, it was really fun to create.
The lovely Dana is up next and I cannot wait to see what she has been creating.
Happy Saturday,
Jo

ReplyDeleteTerrific card. One of the best I have seen with this bundle. Your tip on using a dimensional to keep the tulips open is a good one.
