Stampers Showcase Blog Hop - Spring Has Sprung...

Art Gallery

Welcome to the Stampers Showcase March Blog Hop.  This month we are creating with the theme Spring has Sprung.  It most certainly has, all the flowers are popping up and our clocks changed yesterday so now it is light into the evening making the days just that bit longer!

You may have joined me from the brilliant Deb or starting the hop here.  You can follow the hop by clicking on the next button below or by using the roll call.

On Saturday I held a class using the amazing Art Gallery Suite which I am delighted to say will be carrying into the new Annual Catalogue.  We created a picnic basket which I shared earlier today with a selection of cards and then we decided to create a card on the hoof ('without proper thought or preparation').  I love that expression and there is nothing like putting yourself under pressure!

Actually, it was really fun as it developed together.  Here is the card we made.

These flowers remind me of spring blossom and were created by sponging ink directly on to the stamp so the different colours blend together and give a subtle finish.

I hope you like my spring inspired card.  The brilliant Leonie is up next and I know she is going to have something amazing to share with you today.

You can purchase the products I have used to create my card from my online shop by clicking on the links below.

  3. How did you get those colors to look so faded? I am guessing it has something to do with using the sponges? Just gorgeous! I want to try this!

  4. I have just found your site. This card is so over the top with beauty. It must be the sponges. I am going to try this. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous card and supply list. The color is so gorgeous.
