Monday Mashup #31 featuring Sweet Ice Cream...

Sweet Ice Cream

Good morning and welcome to Monday and another Monday Mashup.  I am not actually sure where this weekend has gone, especially as I haven't achieved a great deal!  It has been nice nevertheless to relax a little for a change.

Today I am sharing a cute card made with the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set from the Spring/Summer Catalogue.  I wanted to make the ice cream look edible and embrace ice cream parlour colours.

Sweet Ice Cream

I started by doodling a fun frame on to the background of the card which I then watercoloured.

I stamped the ice creams and cut them out before colouring some embossing paste in each of the ice cream colours and making the ice cream scoop look good enough to eat.

They are so fun to make and here is another card I made using the same technique.

Below is a list of the products that I used to create both cards which can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links below.

And of course a short video of the techniques so you can have a go for yourself.
