Good afternoon and welcome to the Positive Inkers Design Team Blog Hop for March. Today we are celebrating and getting ready to say goodbye to the 2019-2021 In-Colors.
I am going to mourn their loss to be honest, I loved this colour selection, but particularly Pretty Peacock!!!
I decided to have a bit of fun and use them all! I cut four pieces of Basic White cardstock and using the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks, embossing paste and ink, I coloured the paste before creating a rectangle of each.
I mounted each one on its co-ordinating card colour before attaching them to my card front.
I stamped the image from the Walk in the Woods stamp set as I thought it was quite appropriate because these colours really have been marvellous!
I cut some thin strips of each of the colours and stuck them on some Basic White cardstock, stamped the greeting in my favourite colour, Pretty Peacock, and cut it out using the Tasteful Labels Dies. I mounted it on to the 'strips' background and cut a border before sticking to my card with some linen thread and a few gems to complete!
This was really just for fun but I think it sends a fond farewell to these beautiful colours. I will however embrace them for one more month!!!
