Stamp 'n Hop March Blog Hop - Fancy Fold Card...

Dragonfly Garden

Hello and welcome to the Stamp n' Hop March Blog Hop.  Today we are creating fun fold cards.

I love creating fun fold cards and they are always so popular in classes.  You may have hopped over from Kristie or starting with me here but you can follow the hop by using the next button at the end of this post or the Roll Call of participants shown at the bottom.

I have a love of parchment craft which I rarely get a chance to do these days but I wanted to create a subtle 'window' in my fun fold card so I stamped the floral stamp from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set on to Vellum cardstock and heat embossed using white embossing powder.

I then gently coloured and embossed the image from behind before attaching it inside my window on my card.  It is very subtle and very difficult to photograph but I hope the close up shows a bit more detail.

This is a simple easel card with a window cut from the front.  I used the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut my window ensuring that they were all lined up before attaching.

I hope you like my card today.  The Dragonfly Garden stamp set is so versatile for all sorts of techniques and it has a matching punch too!!!!

You can purchase any of the products I have used to create my card from my online shop by clicking on the links below.

Now hop over to Annette to see what she has been making by clicking on the next button.

Happy Stampin'
