Ink.Stamp.Share March Showcase ...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share Monthly Showcase Blog Hop.  You may have joined me from the lovely Annette or starting the hog here.  We have some lovely projects to share with you today.

Every Tuesday evening I hold an open session for anyone who wishes to join us via Zoom and I demonstrate a project.  Everyone uses their own supplies and it is just a lovely way to keep in contact with people, have a chat and make something beautiful.  This last week I dug in my archives for a project and found a large box which I made several years ago inspired by Sam from Mixed Up Craft.  I have changed this around a bit and created it in metric measurements, but the idea is much the same.

Sweet Ice Cream

I decided to use the beautiful DSP from the Sweet Ice Cream suite for this box.  It is a great size for gifting those slightly larger presents and a lot easier than it looks using just two pieces of cardstock for the box and a small piece of co-ordinating cardstock for the base.

Sweet Ice Cream

This box is made from a full height of A4 cardstock but the beauty of it is, you can make it the height that you want by adjusting the length of the pieces.  This is a remake of the one I demonstrated on Tuesday night as I wanted to reproduce it for a tutorial.

Here are a couple of pictures of both boxes side by side so you can see how easy it is to reduce the size.  The one on the left I simply reduced the height by 2cm to adjust the size for the contents I was adding inside.

You will find the instructions in the Tutorials section here.

I hope you like my project, I am now going to pass you on to Dana who I know will have something beautiful to share with you today.

You can purchase the items I have made to create my box from my online shop by clicking on the links below.

Happy Saturday!

  2. Love your project! That is so different! I love to create 3D projects. Still in the learning process since I've only been stamping about a year. It is so much fun! Would love to try this out! Thank you for sharing this!
