Positive Inkers Global Design Team - Sale-a-Bration...

Hello and welcome to the Positive Inkers Global Design Team monthly blog hop.  This month we are showcasing some more amazing Sale-a-Bration products which you can earn for free with a qualifying order right through to the end of February.

Today I am sharing a card made with my favourite set from the Sale-a-Bration promotion, the stamp set is called Berry Blessings and the co-ordinating Designer Series Paper is called Berry Delightful.

The papers are exquisite and I am sharing how to make your own background paper with the blueberry stamps.

Berry Blessings

I cut a base card from Thick Basic White cardstock, a Pacific Point layer to measure 14.35cm x 10cm and a Basic White panel marginally smaller to leave a very thin Pacific Point border.  I then randomly stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green and the berries in Pacific Point with a little bit of Rich Razzleberry to the bases of the berries to give them a two tone effect.  I also stamped two sets of berries and leaves on to Basic White cardstock and fussy cut them out.

Berry Blessings

I attached a piece of Vellum Cardstock to the card front on the left hand side, about half a centimetre smaller than the Basic White panel to soften the stamped berries.  I then glued a strip (approx 2.5cm wide) of the plaid paper to the left hand side to secure the vellum in place and a 0.5cm strip of Basic White to create a clean dividing edge.

Finally, I stamped my greeting on to Basic White cardstock and glued it to my card front before attaching the spare berries and leaves, a few gems and a linen thread bow.  Top Tip - add a tiny spot of glue to further attach the vellum under the gems, it is hidden from view but will prevent the vellum from curling!

Berry Blessings

I hope you like my card today, this set is so beautiful and cheerful, I would love for it to appear in the next Annual Catalogue as it also works perfectly with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle in the mini catalogue!

All of the products I have used to create my card can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links below.

I am now going to pass you on to Sandy who I am sure will have something gorgeous to share with you today.

Happy Stampin'

Jo
