Crafty Challenge Blog Hop....

Good afternoon and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop.  Today's challenge is to create a project based on the following sketch.

I love working with a sketch, they are a great starting point to get the creative mind working.  I always look at the shapes and the different elements first and see how I can use them to create my card.  This time I decided to turn my card on the side but still use the same shapes.  I have used the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.

Dragonfly Garden

I started by cutting an oval using the Stitched Shapes Dies and then stamped the flowers in Staz-on ink.  I painted the flowers and leaves using a small paintbrush and ink from the ink pad lids.  Once completed I added some Wink of Stella so they glimmered.

I then stamped two of the dragonflies on to a scrap of Basic White cardstock in Staz-on ink and painted them using the ink pads.  I only painted the head of the dragonfly on the second one which I cut out and adhered to the first one using dimensionals.

I added some Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay 'splats' to the background of the Basic White base before preparing the other elements and gluing everything together.

I hope you like my project today, this stamp set has so many possibilities, I cannot wait to play with it some more.

You can purchase any of the products I have used in my project from my online shop by clicking on the links below.

To continue through the hop, you will find a list of participants below.

Thank you for dropping by,

Jo
