Monday Mashup #14...

Good morning and welcome to my Monday Mashup.  I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

I was meant to be away this past weekend with some crafty friends but unfortunately it had to be cancelled because of the Coronavirus and the lockdown we are currently under here in the UK, but I did manage to spend a little bit of time in my craft room!!

Today I have another Christmas scene card for you.  I have mixed up Peaceful Boughs and Winter Woods for a wintery feel.

Here is my card...

Peaceful Boughs, Winter Woods

When we look at stamps, we often see them as a whole when in fact we can use just elements of them.  This is a good way to make your stamps even more versatile.

I started by colouring my background, in this instance it is a mixture of Pumpkin Pie and Cinnamon Cider.  I then coloured just the branch sections of one of the Peaceful Boughs stamps before adding the greenery using the little pine stamp from Winter Woods.  By mixing these two together it achieved a completely different look to the boughs.

I then added the pine cones in Early Espresso before adding white embossed pine needles and snowflakes.

You can see how it was made here...

I am usually quite a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas colours and I instantly get drawn to the reds, greens and golds but it is nice sometimes to create something in non traditional colours.

I have created two different colour versions of this card and it is amazing how different they look.

The first is in varying shades of blues, Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy and Pretty Peacock.

I loved the frosty feel to this one.

The second card was made with pinks, Blushing Bride, Rococo Rose and Blackberry Bliss.

I loved the deep pine cones on this one and it feels a bit dreamy!

And here are the three of them together.  So which is your favourite?

I hope you like my cards today, they are quite simple and quick to create so I hope you will give it a go.

All of the products I have used in my cards are listed below and can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links or if you would like to discuss the possibility of becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, please do get in touch.

Have a good week and I will see you next week for another Monday Mashup.

Take care and keep safe,

Jo
