3D Thursday - Guest Designer...

I am very excited to be featuring as the Guest Designer for the 3d Thursday hop this week.

It is always such a privilege to be asked to feature as a Guest Designer, it's nerve wracking for sure as you don't want to let the other wonderful designers down but it is also really good fun to come up with a project.

When I sat down to design my project, I wanted to create packaging for something special and I remembered some reed diffusers that I had bought for my small gifts box!  I also wanted to create something a bit different and came up with this box which I am going to call the Two Tone Slider Box.

The outside box is effectively a sleeve for the internal box to fit inside.  I made the boxes using 12 x 12 cardstock but it is possible to create it from both A4 and US paper size with some small adjustments.

As you can see below, this is how the internal box slides out to reveal its contents.  It is a generous size box which could hold all sorts of gifts.  I found out quite by accident that it is perfect for the Lindt Santas!

I used the Snowflake Splendor DSP to decorate my box inside and out and I made my tag with the Snowman Season stamp set and the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

I hope you like my project, it was fun to create and I have added a tutorial so you can give it a try here.

Don't forget to hop over to the other ladies blogs to see what they have been creating.
