Stampin' Friends January Blog Hop...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Stampin' Friends January Blog Hop.

A new year, a new banner and a new theme, Birthday Celebrations.

I am sharing a clean simple project and card with you today using the FREE Sale-a-Bration DSP, Paper Blooms which co-ordinates perfectly with the Pretty Perennials stamp set from the Mini Catalogue.

There are two sheets in the DSP which has a white background with beautiful flowers and leaves and so I wanted to keep my project crisp and clean too.

Pretty Perennials

I stamped and cut the flowers and leaves from the Pretty Perennials stamp set using the beautiful colours that appear in the DSP, Soft Sea Foam, Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, Old Olive and Rococo Rose.  I sponged the background lightly in Soft Sea Form before randomly stamping a little greeting in the background which has been taken from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set.

Pretty Perennials

I then created this simple box in Thick Basic White cardstock.  I cut a wrap to encase the box using the Paper Blooms DSP and the Delightful Tag Topper Punch on either end.  I then coloured some of the white ribbon from the Forever Greenery Combo ribbon pack with Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends and a piece of the linen thread using the Night of Navy Stampin' Blend.

And here are the two together.

Pretty Perennials

I hope you like my project today, clean and simple for a birthday treat.

You can purchase all the products from my online shop by clicking on the links below and earn the DSP for free when you spend £45.

I am now going to pass you on to Teri who I know will have something lovely to share with you today.

Happy Stampin'
