Good morning and welcome to Monday Mashup #23. Can you believe it has been 23 weeks since I started my Monday Mashup, time has just flown, despite everything!
Today I am sharing a fun technique called Split Stamping. It is not a new technique but one I haven't made for quite some time.
I decided to use the lovely stamp set To a Wild Rose. It is a fond favourite of mine as it is the set I had the privilege of presenting on stage at one of our demonstrator events.
As a bonus, this technique actually makes two cards all in one go so it is great for batch making.
You need two pieces of cardstock the full size of your card front, one in Basic White and one in Daffodil Delight.
Using the Stamparatus you stamp the identical images on both pieces of cardstock, stamped in black on the Basic White and Bumblebee on the Daffodil Delight.
Once you have coloured the flowers on the Basic White you simply cut them in half to create your cards.
I have recorded a video to explain how you line up and create your floral arrangement using the Stamparatus.
Thank you for dropping by, I hope you like my project and will give it a go.
We are currently in the Sale-a-Bration promotion period which means that for every £45 spend, you get to choose a free item from the special Sale-a-Bration brochure. There are some really cute stamp sets and papers to choose from.
There is also an amazing promotion of 200 extra sheets of Designer Series Paper if you become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. There are so many benefits to becoming a demonstrator which includes a minimum 20% discount on all orders, early order opportunities on new products, team events and I could go on, not to mention the friendships you make along the way. It costs just £99 to join and you get to choose £130 worth of products, you don't have to hold classes like I do, you can simply take advantage of all the benefits. I would love you to join my team so if you would like a no obligation chat, please do get in touch.
Happy Stampin'
Jo
