Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop for August.
You may have joined me from Sue or starting the hop here. This month we are following a theme of TRAVEL. Whilst this is probably unlikely for most of us during 2020, we always have photos of those trips we have been meaning to scrapbook!! I know I have!
So here is my page....
I have gone for the minimalist look on my page this month and have let the beautiful papers do the talking for me. They were my obvious choice and are from the World of Good Suite. The sentiment is taken from the Beautiful World stamp set.
I started to play around with a layout and I had a triangle of paper left over from another project. It reminded me of all the beautiful mountains that the Rocky Mountaineer train followed through The Rockies. So I cut a few more and my layout developed. I used strips across the centre to break up the triangles and focus the eye on a horizontal line. I then added some faux stitching for a bit of interest.
I hope you like my layout today and I am now going to pass you on to Cindy who I am sure has something lovely to share with you.
