Stampin' Friends are 'All About the Paper' today!!! We have such an amazing choice of Designer Series Paper in our collection and I absolutely love the Rings of Love DSP in the Sale-a-Bration offerings!
I, like many crafters (and I know because I have asked!), like to hoard and stroke their Designer Series Paper collection whilst it looks pretty on the shelf. I used to be really guilty of this but not so much now, I love to celebrate it and use it to make as many projects as possible.
I made this cute little box using my favourite pattern from the Rings of Love DSP. I love the clean look but the bright pops of colour of this one. You can still earn this for free until the end of the month so just a few days left!!
I was inspired to make this box from the shape of an old barn near where I live. I liked the flat top with the slanted sides.
The internal box slides in and out from either end. It is a nice close fit so won't fall out - it was certainly fun working out those angles!!
I wanted to create a circular handle and I think it looks really effective with the decoration inside.
You can find a link to the tutorial in the tutorials page. Of course any box has to have an accompanying card.
I hope I have inspired you to celebrate and cut your own hoard of DSP!!!
