Stampin' Friends 2022 - Monochromatic March...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Stampin' Friends 2022 Monochromatic March Blog Hop.

When I think of monochrome, I always naturally gravitate towards blue and white, I have no idea why but I love the contrast that you achieve with blue tones.  I set out to NOT use blues this time but I couldn't resist using our beautiful Misty Moonlight which will sadly be leaving us in just a few weeks as it was one of our In-Colours from two years ago!

I have used the beautiful Hand Penned Petals stamp set and randomly stamped the dandelion head in first and second generation Misty Moonlight all over an A4 sheet of Basic White cardstock.  Really simple, but the contrast of the colours makes it look really classy.

With the rest of the sheet I made a little wrap to go around a cute little 5cm x 5cm box.  Again, this is really simple but effective and makes a very ordinary box into something a little bit more special.

I am definitely going to miss Misty Moonlight but we have five new amazing colours on their way so what's not to love!  Just look at these beauties...

I cannot wait to see some more monochromatic inspiration and Barb is up next.  Don't forget to follow the hop and give us some blog love!

Happy Stampin'

  1. Very pretty - yes, I agree, blues are lovely for this technique. The wrap around the box makes it extra special.

  3. I have just discovered this color (even though I've had it in my stash for the past two years) and am sad to see it go also. Great projects.
