Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share Fun Fold Blog Hop. We have lots of inspiration for you today of different fun folds. I am using a simple oldie but goodie easel card for my design.
I couldn't resist the beautiful Daffodil Daydream stamp set, daffodils are the flowers I look out for to let me know that Spring is on its way although they seem to be appearing earlier and earlier each year these days!
For my card I took a standard C6 card base and folded the front section in half again on the vertical centre line. I then turned my card to the horizontal position,
I stamped the Daffodil on to Fluid 100 paper and watercoloured using So Saffron, Bumblebee and Garden Green. The background is a mixture of the dots and fancy strip stamped in first and second generation to give a subtle effect.
I then stamped one of the fancy strips in Flirty Flamingo which I fussy cut and placed on the inside of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals to use as a 'stopper' for the easel.
The rectangles have all been cut from the Stitched Rectangles Dies to make ist nice and simple. I used the largest size and the one smaller than that to create the layers.
I hope you like my simple fancy fold card today, I cannot wait to see what everyone else has in store for us.
Happy Stampin'
Jo
