Welcome to Day 6 of the Advent of Projects. Today I am sharing a cute card we made at our craft class at the weekend using Peaceful Deer. I love these cute deers.
I love to use DSP on my cards and sometimes when you have lots of offcuts hanging around they are just perfect for a card.
I had a strip of the green paper from a previous project which was just long enough for the edge of my card and to make it stand out from the card I used the Basic Borders Dies with Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
I also had a small square and a couple of other strips so I played with them on my card in various formats until I was happy with the design. I cut out a circle using the Layered Circles Dies in Basic White and stamped the trees in Evening Evergreen.
I added some additional layers and stamped and coloured the deer with Stampin' Blends.
So why not challenge yourself to use up the scraps in your stash to create a card, maybe use my card as inspiration as we all end up with strips and shapes!
