Today I have a pretty card made from scraps. I am sure you are with me when I say I get such a collection of scraps of DSP and whilst I must confess to not keeping them all, this time of year they are really useful for making Christmas tags!
I had such a pile of scraps and strips that I decided to make a card for you today using the beautiful Whimsy & Wonder DSP.
I had a few of our large snowflakes left so I used one to sponge the background of my card in Polished Pink. I then arranged three of the snowflakes on my card base including the pink one I used as my mask!
The diagonal strips, blue border and circle were scraps I had in my pack so I used them as they were. I then needed something on top so I took a piece of Adhesive Sheet and stuck it to a piece of Basic White DSP. I then trimmed down some of the scraps into small strips and glued them across the adhesive back, leaving a few gaps in between. I then added some glitter to the gaps before punching out three Christmas Trees with the tree punch and sponging the edges lightly with Polished Pink ink.
I added some silver thread and a greeting to complete my card. Why not try using up some scraps, it is amazing how far little bits of paper can go!
See you tomorrow,
Jo
