Stamp N Hop January Blog Hop - SAB/Occasions ...

Welcome to my blog and the first Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop for 2020! We have recently seen the new Mini Catalogue for 2020 launched and with it the ever popular Sale-a-Bration promotion. So it is very fitting the blog hop theme this month is SAB/Occasions. You may have joined me from Melinda or starting your journey here but either way sit back and enjoy hopping around. I have chosen to highlight a bit of both catalogues using the Honey Bee Cling Stamp Set and Co-ordinating Detailed Bee Dies from the Mini Catalogue along with the Golden Honey Speciality DSP which shares many of the images of the stamp set with gold running through the papers, they are stunning!


Here are a couple of cards I have made using these beautiful products.
The bees are so cute I couldn't resist a quick and #simplestamping card, the bees are stamped in Memento and Crush Curry ink added to the stripes.
This one uses lots of the lovely DSP. Those little flowers are gold so it really glistens.
My final card today uses the large 'in flight' bumble bee and I have used torn vellum over my background to soften it slightly and coloured a few gems.

Ink.Stamp.Share December Blog Hop - Anything Goes....

Good afternoon, welcome to my blog.  You may have joined me from the amazing Stacey or starting your journey here but either way it is nice to have you.

I have been absent for some time - firstly we moved home back in August and I don't think anyone should under estimate what that involves, never again (I said that last time!!!).  I have also been dealing with the clearance and sale of my late mum's home so it has been busy busy busy and my crafting has had to take a bit of a back step to be honest.

I was determined to take part in this month's blog hop especially with the theme of 'Anything Goes' this took the pressure off a bit and meant I am able to showcase something I have already managed to make!

I absolutely fell in love with the Brightly Gleaming Suite, it is right up my street and I cannot tell you how devastated I am that the DSP is no longer available in the UK, I had so many projects lined up for this beautiful paper but I did manage to create a few bits and bobs so I am starting with a little house box which we made a recent class.  It is large enough to hold a standard mug and some sweet treats!

When I hold my Christmas classes I try to use a variety of stamp sets which co-ordinate with my chosen DSP.  The life of the Autumn/Winter catalogue is so short that it is nice to incorporate as many as we can to highlight their versatility.

Ink.Stamp.Share September Hop - Christmas...

Good afternoon, thank you for hopping with me today.  You may have joined me from the lovely Sue McDonald or starting your journey here but either way we have some amazing projects to share with you today with the theme of CHRISTMAS!!!  I love creating all the Christmas projects and once again this year we have some beautiful stamp sets to choose from, not to mention the beautiful papers and embellishments.

I changed my mind several times as to which stamp set I was going to highlight in this month's hop!  I couldn't really decide so instead I used a couple namely Yummy Christmas and Christmas Gleaming.  Here is what I made...

I love this little gingerbread house and I had a lot of fun colouring it using the Stampin' Blends.  The snow effect is using Shimmery White Embossing Paste.

I also couldn't resist using the Christmas Gleaming stamps.  These were heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder before I used the blends to colour them in.

And here they are together!
