SF2022 - Say It With Sentiments...

Season of Chic

Good afternoon and welcome to the Stampin' Friends Blog Hop.  This month our projects 'Say It With Sentiments'

This was such a great brief which completely stumped me to begin with.  I love our sentiment stamps but then I struggled to decide which one to use.  My mind had completely gone to just sentiments and of course that ruled out all the lovely sets with great sentiments in them along with the images.

One of my favourite sets which has some amazing sentiments is Season of Chic.  The fonts used are really nice and clear and the sentiments are actually far bigger than you image them to be.

The latest In-Colors were sitting on my desk from a previous project so I decided to keep to just those colours (they are beautiful after all and work so well together).

I started with the large 'thanks' which I stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink and then I used Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis and Tahitian Tide to stamp two other sentiments at different angles.

The flowers are stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink for the outline and stamped off Sweet Sorbet ink for the centres.  Parakeet Party made up the leaves.

I'll let you in to a secret, I had a piece of Basic White cardstock sitting on my desk so I created another topper and then built my box around it.  It is actually quite a nice size and would fit lots of lovely treats.

I really have to push myself to work with primary colours but I just love the way all these colours work together.

I hope you like my projects.  You can follow the hop by clicking on the next blog button below.

Have a great day,

Jo
