Ink.Stamp.Share Showcase Blog Hop...

Good afternoon, it is a beautiful day here in Norfolk, the sun is shining and the sky is blue and I have a super cute card to share with you today.  I made this card for a recent swap using the cutest Elephant Parade stamp set.

I started with a Gray Granite card base and stamped the leaves on the background using Gray Granite ink.  I then cut a smaller Gray Granite panel and 'stitched' the top and bottom with the Stitchery stamp set.  This is a lovely little stamp set which seems to get a bit overlooked but it creates beautiful effects and backgrounds with eight different types of stitches.

I stamped the mouse, elephant and balloon in Memento ink and used Gray Granite, Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blends.  I cut them out and attached them to a circle, cut with the Layering Circles dies, with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I then added a little bit of the gingham ribbon (I love this ribbon!), added the sentiment, heat embossed in white and a few of the iridescent gems.

I had great fun creating this little card, it would make a beautiful baby card don't you think!?

The lovely Joanna is up next and I cannot wait to see what she has been creating and you can follow the hop by clicking on the links below.

Have a great day,

Jo
