Stamping INKspirations - Sketch Challenge ...

Welcome to the Stamping INKspirations blog hop.  We have a fab sketch challenge to share with you today and you know how much I love a sketch.

I decided to turn the sketch one turn to the left for today's challenge.  That is one of the reasons I love sketches because they are a starting point, you don't have to copy them exactly and one of my favourite things is to tip a sketch on its side or upside down.

For todays' card I have used the beautiful new Sending Smiles stamp set, it is such a versatile set and the mix of florals and sentiments are gorgeous.  I have mixed it up with the beautiful new host exclusive Designer Series Paper called Design a Daydream.  When you spend or host a party of £150 or more you get the opportunity to purchase this special paper and it is such great value for money and has a beautiful selection of designs.

The lavender heads were inked in Petal Pink and I used a Blending Brush to add a little Blackberry Bliss to one side to give a two tone effect.  I then added the leaves in Old Olive.

I hope you like my card inspired by the sketch.  I cannot wait to see what everyone else has created, you can follow the hop by clicking on the next button or links below.  Vicki is up next.
