Ink.Stamp.Share May Blog Hop - Celebration ...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share May Blog Hop - today we are sharing 'Celebration' projects.

May and June are full of celebrations in this household this year but I wanted to share a project I made for my best friend's daughter who turned 18 yesterday!!!!  How can she be 18, it really is scary how time goes so quickly, I remember her being born!

I am a little bit out of touch to what 18 year olds like nowadays but I listened out for some hints and bought her some cosmetics which of course required some beautiful packaging.  Forgive me for using some 'just retired' products but they were perfect for this project and I couldn't share them any earlier!

I know a lot of you will have the Large Numbers and Dressed to Impress stamp set in your stash so I hope I am forgiven!

I started by making a box with a Petal Pink base and a Basic Black top.  I love the contrast between the two colours. I then decorated the top with the beautiful images and a big 18 cut from Black Glimmer Paper.

Of course I had to make a matching card.

I used Stampin' Blends to colour the shoes and flowers and the perfume bottle is stamped in Memento and Petal Pink ink.

Here are the two projects together.

I hope you like my projects today, the fabulous Kim is up next and I cannot wait to see her celebration project.

Happy Stampin'
