SF2022 - Celebrating Men...

Good afternoon and welcome to the Stampin' Friends 'Celebrating Men' Blog Hop.

I don't think I know a crafter who doesn't struggle with cards and gifts for the men so today's blog hop has lots of inspiration for you.  We have a great new 'male' themed set in the Annual Catalogue called He's the Man Suite.  It has great images on die cut sheets in the Designer Series Paper which make really quick simple cards.  I have paired this suite with Whiskey Business for today's projects.  I am so glad this set carried over into the new catalogue!

I started off with my card, making full use of the DSP from the He's the Man Suite.  I often like to use shapes for male cards and today is no exception with the use of rectangles and circles.  I stamped the whiskey glasses in Memento ink and coloured using Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.

Whilst I had the Layering Circle Dies to hand, I decided to use them to decorate a simple box.  I cut four circles (in this case the largest circle) and folded them into quarters.  I then cut one of the score lines up to the centre point and glued the two edges together to give me a corner piece for my box.  This is a great way to use DSP in a different way rather than just flat on the box surface.

Here are the projects together...

I cannot wait to see what everyone else has been making.  Jean is up next and you can follow the hop below.

Happy Stampin'

  1. I struggle with masculine cards as well! Thanks for sharing. I love the simple layout using shapes and the use of circles on the box corners!
