Crafty Challenge Blog Hop...

Butterfly Brilliance

Hi and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop.  Today I am joining demonstrators from around the World sharing projects based on a sketch challenge!

Now you know how much I love a sketch challenge.  I love how you can interpret them quite literally or change the elements and/or orientation to get a completely different look.  I have decided to interpret this one quite literally as it is in my favourite orientation already and I loved the balance of the elements and sentiment.

Butterfly Brilliance

The DSP I have used is from the You're a Peach Designer Series Paper.  I love all the "peachiness" about the DSP but I also love the delicate Balmy Blue colours in it, especially this dotty one!

I haven't used the Beautiful Brilliance stamp set in a while and I thought it would make a nice alternative to the hearts shown in the sketch.

The butterflies were stamped in Black Memento and coloured using Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends with a little Misty Moonlight towards the centres.

I hope you like my card today, you can follow the rest of the hop by clicking on the links below.

Happy Stampin'
