Good morning, so how was your weekend? I was so pleased to finally be able to hold an in-person class back in Essex, where I originally came from. In the last 15 months this was only our second in-person class. Suffice to say not a lot of crafting got done in the first hour or so as we all chatted and giggled, just like the old times. It really was a lovely day. Sunday was spent relaxing with family with a lovely BBQ so all in all it was a good one.
You may have seen my scrapbook page that I shared yesterday for the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. Whilst I was creating it I thought how well it would convert to a card. Inspiration can come from anywhere and whilst a card is nearly a sixth of the size, the elements make it possible to create something similar on a smaller canvas.
I started by creating a background with bubble wrap and the seaweed and fish were added on top. I then created the water inspired circles on vellum cardstock using Stampin' Blends alcohol technique, minus the usual blending of colours!
I had some vellum circles left over so I used these on the inside of the card to add some continuity through the inside and out.
You can see how I made it in this short video.
I hope you like my card today, the background works with all sorts of stamps and is very easy to achieve. I would love to see your creations.
All of the products I have used to create my card can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links below.
Wishing you a lovely week,
Jo

I absolutely adore this card!! I haven't tried the alcohol inks on vellum yet but I'm heading to the store now to grab what I need and can't wait to try this. Thanks for sharing!
