Stampin' Sanctuary - A Very Useful Box...

***TUTORIAL NOW AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE IN TUTORIALS ABOVE***

Laura and I held our first Stampin' Sanctuary for 2016 last Saturday.  We had another wonderful day and the ladies each made a box we named a 'very useful box'.  We designed the box with a recipe box in mind and used the Farmer's Market DSP by Stampin' Up!.  However, we were conscious that not everyone likes to cook so we made it at a size that the box could be used for greetings cards, address cards, photographs and embossing folders, to name just a few.

Here is the box.

One of the things I love about these days is that the ladies receive a full pack of DSP so although our samples are made for inspiration, it never fails to amaze me the creative mind of a crafter and we had some lovely combinations of papers, I especially loved the pears paper and am annoyed that I didn't snap a picture to show you (maybe I will make another one another day!).

We also prepare a display to showcase the DSP and stamp set or stamps we have chosen for the day.  We were actually spoilt for choice this time as we decided to showcase the SAB stamp sets - all of them lol!!

Here are the items from our display.

I hope you have taken some inspiration from our display.  I would love to hear what you think and if you like what you see, why not join us for the next one on 23rd April where we will be making a home décor piece!!!
